Philanthropy & Leadership Opportunities
Dancers With Heart provides services to meet the needs of our community and philanthropy partners. We offer our members a variety of opportunities to cultivate dance and develop personal and interpersonal skills empowering them to live a life centered on leadership and philanthropy.
Dance Classes
Our teen members choreograph original dance pieces and customize their instruction to meet the specific needs and abilities of participants. Our approach is inclusive and adaptive to ensure that everyone can share in the joy of dance.
Prior to establishing a partnership, we invest time in exploring the distinct requirements of our audience to create a significant, positive experience for all involved.
Not only does this benefit the participants taking part in the classes, but also offers a valuable learning opportunity for our members as they navigate teaching and supporting individuals with diverse backgrounds and abilities. It fosters empathy, creativity and adaptability among our members while promoting personal growth, skill development, and community engagement.

Dance Wear Donations
We organize, collect and ship dance wear donations from local studios across the U.S. and around the world to dancers in need.

Dance
Performances
Our teen members create and perform original dances to provide entertainment and spark joy for those in our community. This includes members of our community and patrons of our philanthropy partners.
This not only brings happiness and potentially motivates those observing to take part in dance classes of their own, but allows our members to improve their choreography and dance skills through performance opportunities outside of their studio.

Community
Service
Like other teen volunteer organizations, Dancers With Heart provides opportunities for our members to participate in non-dance related community service events in addition to our dance-related events.

Seminars
Our members have access to a wide range of opportunities for development in dance, community engagement and leadership.
We invite our philanthropy partners to engage with our members, sharing insights about the communities they serve. This allows our members to gain understanding and connect with individuals with diverse abilities and backgrounds.
Additionally, we organize seminars with speakers who specialize in life skills (e.g., cooking, finance, first aid, resumé writing) and/or leadership skills (e.g., inspiring others, effective communication, identifying strengths and weaknesses). These seminars provide valuable learning experiences for our members.
